Waterfall Building Pre Wedding portrait pictures
Vancouver Waterfall Building Wedding location
Unique Vancouver Waterfall Building Wedding venue is located close to the Granville Island. I do not know how I could miss it for years but that is not that important. My couple G+V found it and loved it. The glass pyramid like building has its character. Hidden under a concrete passage right in the centre of Vancouver. Fountain was switched off due to winter freezing nights. But the reflection in the water was simply perfect for creative shots. Since I like subjects to look a bit more creative way I used my own twists in double reflections.
Gigi+Vuong being a bit shy warmed up fairly quickly. I have to give a huge credit to Gigi, who despite cold weather decided to wear a summer dress for the shoot. She was holding amazing way. I tried to keep them close to each other so they could warm their bodies together. But still chilli air coming from snowy mountains shook through our bones couple times.
Scenic portraits at urban location such this one are not easy. People walking by, overcast low light day and cold. Again G+V were very patient, and since they loved to have unique portraits from the day they were very determined. Short walks around the fountain kept them busy and made them laugh. Once Gigi started to dance for Vuong they forgot about me. Setting up strobes for extra dramatic lighting took the most time as usually yet it was worth it. With approaching dusk we managed to create very interesting portraiture together.
This was a fun engagement session. If I ever had a couple who would love to have Vancouver Waterfall Building Wedding venue for their big day I think they would love modern and unique pictures I could create for them here.
Thank you Gigi and Vuong for your patience. It was rewarded with such a nice story in images you will cherry forever.
And I hope you did not get sick the next day.
