Our last wedding of 2012 season happened to be just 3 days before the New Year. Raj and Jarnail wanted to have a small ceremony in the circle of their close family. Indoor formals were done at the bride sister house in Surrey, BC.
Raj wanted to have nice portraits from this day and even in this low light location she looks stunning. The saris with all its detailing makes these images really stands out, and that is why we love to photograph east Indian weddings, it is like being in a fairy-tale with a princess. This is what modern indian wedding photography is all about – beautiful and happy bride 🙂
Mixture of candid and posed portraits. Men were sitting at the dinning table and talking ‘politics’ women are getting ready deserts in the kitchen and our wedding couple spend their time on the leather sofa with my camera capturing those sacred wedding moments.
After a short ceremony couple images of the bride and her parents and we headed out to Bear Creek park in Surrey, where we finished this relaxed wedding. And even though the small rain was starting to fall on us we had a great time capturing these shots.
Congratulations Raj and Jarnail. It was my pleasure to be your wedding photographer and I wish you all the best in your future. And I hope you have a better weather in Ottawa then you had during your wedding formals here in Vancouver 🙂
