Rosewood Hotel Georgia wedding
Elegant, luxury and classic Vancouver wedding venue.
One of the highlights of this summer was Tammy+Lev Rosewood Hotel Georgia wedding. Guys had an amazing engagement shoot earlier this year at West Vancouver Lighthouse park. After a scenic session like that they wrapped it up with their I Do at this iconic Vancouver venue. In the heart of Downtown, across the street from Vancouver Gallery, this place is gorges. To summarize the story of this bride and groom in a single post is going to be really hard. Let’s try and more images will be available later on in amazing slideshow.
Bride was getting ready at the Tudor room and groom at his suite. The second part of the Tudor room was decorated for the traditional Chinese tea ceremony in the red dress. Before we got into that Lev could for the first time see Tammy in her wedding gown. Simply beautiful and discrete experience.
Does not she look stunning? Amazing elegant weeding gown on a beautiful bride was for sure turning heads of hotel guests as we walked through the lobby to our first bridal party location.
Our first location was Prohibition Bar. The security had to come to let us in and guys were watching us the whole time while we had a 5 minutes session in there. Drinking of any liquor was strictly NO NO for all of us and once we had our portraits done they promptly locked the door behind us. Hm, sounds like a Prohibition to me :). Dark moody place yet very rewarding with interesting looking interior.
The next stop was complete opposite. Bright and sunny Reflections terrace. Epic place with blue sky above us was like coming form a cave to the top of the world. Again, the security had to let us in so we got treated like a VIP the whole time 🙂
Lev is a business man, so his emotions sometimes well hidden deeper in him were revealed such a cool way while a waiter was trying to get pass behind them that this set of candid moments is simply priceless.
Tammy leaving this rooftop terrace in her gorges wedding gown. Amazing short shoot and back inside for the traditional Chinese tea wedding ceremony at the Tudor room.
And from a red dress to the white gown again, this time for a traditional western style wedding ceremony. The real I do moment with all the guests and family around the bride and groom.
And after Yes I do the big party could start. A cocktail hour, followed by a great entrance and the first dance.
What a day and night! It was an absolutely amazing wedding celebration. Thank you Tammy and Lev for having us to create these images for you and your family. We have been honoured to photograph you.
