Melanie and Justin story has been a joy to watch to photograph. They were not a traditional wedding couple. Their taste and interests were showed to me for the first time when we went for their pre wedding engagement shoot to Vancouver Island. Tofino, kilometres of sandy beaches. Wild tides ripping cliffs at Wickaninnish Inn and sunsets you can only dream about. Melanie and Justin had enjoyed all of it. Justin had some tough surgeries on his hips so using a cane was the only way for him to walk and explore this West Coast pacific beauty of raw nature. Melanie was his huge support and their relationship showed such a kind and awesome way to the outside world of strangers passing around us those 3 days. We had an awesome time on this trip and I became their coming Rosewood Hotel Georgia Wedding Photographer.

Amazing Vancouver wedding venues.

Now imagine their wedding day. Complete opposite of wild Pacific ocean views. The wedding day started for them at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. Both of them were getting ready in this luxury Vancouver wedding venue and just across the street was their ceremony venue. Christ Church Cathedral with its unique architecture was a great spot for their vows. The married couple took a ride to their portraits in their vintage Mercedes Benz. They love pictures and despite short time slot we managed to refresh them with fresh breeze looks in downtown. And the story could continue at another spectacular location from there the classic upscale venue Vancouver Rosewood Hotel Georgia.

The real treat for guests eyes was the evening reception. Spanish ballroom in Rosewood Hotel Georgia was transferred to a flowery garden with green fountain in the middle of it. Elegant, creative and picturesque view indeed.

The wedding day story.

This was quite an overwhelming day to conquer not for just the couple but also for all us vendors. And there were human souls who were so organized and skilled to pull this event and exceed any expectations. The key wedding planner was Jessie from Dreamgroup planners and together with her wedding coordinators Bonnie and Alexa they did magic on this day.
