Sea to sky gondola engagement
Pacific coast nature is simply breathtaking. Those of you who live here can enjoy the beauty of it everyday. But where are those best places for creative portraits? Anywhere, the variety of parks, beaches and mountains for nature lovers is amazing here in British Columbia. So believe me I was so glad when Pam and Manny chosen one of the most spectacular location for their scenic epic photo engagement session – Sea to sky gondola.
We worked on a timeline of the shoot including starting time, outfits and props a long time before the session. The goal for Pam and Manny were scenic images and a love story of the two of them. The weather was a huge role player here and we simply got blessed with a gorges evening light and blue sky with couple clouds around us.
There they were, standing on the suspension bridge enjoying the golden hour sun. Very first images of them and the spectacular majestic mountains and valleys around them.
For those who do not know Co-Pilot and Sky Pilot mountain peaks were the fairytale backdrop for these suspension bridge and viewing platforms portraits.
And then the jungle of rainforest covered us with its greenery.
What a choice of light for a wedding or a portrait photographer is up here. It is like being in heaven. You can get so many looks and feels from this location. Amazing backlighted hiking trails, patches of soft golden hour rays, or open shades for those cool looking portraits. Wow.
After a short 15 min walk we got to The Chief Overlook Viewing Platform. No comment needed here.
You get what you deserve, specially if you work and prepare towards your dream goal. Well, Manny and Pam wanted some spectacular, unforgettable memory from their Sea to sky engagement photo session. I believe they deserved it and I am so happy for them. We had a great time together and the day was simply easy going experience for both of us. They got to know me better. Now they know the difference when I have my telephoto lens in my hands and photograph them from so far they can barely see me or the opposite with my crazy Nikon 14-24f2.8 AFS super wide beast which allowed me to create some of these artsy shot above.
Now hold one. This is not over yet even though you can see the sunset behind them on the way down to the parking lot. These guys know what they want and they got. Story continues soon with part 2. Riding home on the Sea to sky highway the very same evening. On what?
