Spanish bank winter engagement
We all love the Christmas time of the year, when ew can enjoy our families and have a break from ordinary, rushing world around us. Well, that applies only if you skip the shopping fever though. The 2015 season is knocking on the door and even though I would love to have some more rest I am happy to be busy with shootings.
This time I had a great time with R+C during their Spanish bank winter engagement session. Romantic couple, a bit laid back and shy but so amazing and so real people I was blown away with them.
What does it takes to photograph a winter engagement?
I wish we had a snow not just on the Cypress Mountain but also at UBC, Spanish bank or Downtown for couple days. Well, we usually do not have that luxury. But the chilli weather at the open ocean is enough for a girl wearing a short dress and no coat for the session. Guys are usually winter proof which makes this part for us easy. Good timing to work with a nice light, and hope the sun comes out for a bit, and the rainy clouds stay over the mountains. Honestly, being yourself and enjoying the company of your photographer is the hardest and probably the most important part. We have to be able to make you comfortable in front of our cameras. If we do not, then we suck 🙂 Well these guys got comfy quite fast, which does not mean I do not suck – which I do not !, but the images they have from this session are so awesome natural I am so happy we pulled this out just before the 2014 years ends. This is just a teaser and the full post will be running in couple weeks here.
Right now we are getting ready for 3 wedding shows starting with Westin Bayshore hotel – Wedding Fair 2015. After being recognized with some amazing photography awards this year, and a huge success at the Fall wedding show at Vancouver convention centre we are looking forward to meet you, and show you our art. Being a platinum vendor we have some cool stuff going on at our booth and before the actual show starts you can also win a FREE ticket from us if you visit our Facebook page.
Thank you for visiting, and please come back soon for the full story.
