The idea of having a reception on a private boat cruising from Granville island through False creek towards the evening sunset at West Vancouver caught our attention since Peter and Eva met us at our free complimentary wedding consultation.
The ceremony took place at St Casimir’s Polish Parish Vancouver. As a Wedding photographer I love this church. It is dark so in such a low light situation like this I do not just challenge my camera gear – which is the best available out there for this kind of situations, but also I love it as a personal creative challenge to capture the atmosphere in here.
For the formals we spent an afternoon with Peter and Eva at Vancouver’s Van Dusen gardens. Fall fresh colors and their great attitude to have unique images clicked together.
At the sunset the time has come and our all night long voyage could start. Wedding in Vancouver finishing with sunset over the ocean is a dream set up for any Vancouver wedding photographer and I am not any different, plus the captain had a good help at the private boat wheel so any Titanic images were out of the limits 🙂
After the first dance the party could started with the last sun rays touching the Vancouver Island horizon and bride and groom could enjoy it with a fresh breeze from the ocean in their faces 🙂
What a beautiful night with this Vancouver wedding couple it was. Last stop at the Science world for a midnight formal session from the boat was a thrilling experience for all of us no wonder another brides loved this idea for their night engagements or wedding formals sessions last season.
Peter and Eva, Povazan Photography wish you all the best in your life and it was our pleasure to be your Vancouver wedding photography team 🙂
