What for some people might be a bit of depression for photographers this is like opening another story book. Yesterday I had a really interesting couple to work with at their wedding day. Young, cool and determined to have their wedding formals done in the night. Well that is not unusual. Let me tell you more. The temperature outside the Ids Temple in Langley was 0 Degrees Celsius ! Frozen slippery sidewalks were like minefield and the grass was crunching under our feet. A romantic evening could start. The low light night scenes offered in downtown are breathtaking. Even though the relatively young architecture lacks the history of hundreds years old European town and cities, I find it a very attractive for night style photography. To organize this kind of shooting on the same night like the wedding is happening is sometimes very hard. That is why many couples prefer to have these kind of shots done as engagement session, or even better after the wedding creative session. We do not call it trash the dress, because we are not trashing it. We simply create a unique and memorable moments fro for the bride and groom to last.
