UBC Museum of Anthropology Wedding

UBC Museum Of Anthropology Wedding

UBC Museum of Anthropology is a very popular wedding venue in Vancouver. Eric and Mahtab reached out to me to create a story for them with my artistic twists in it.

They liked colourful images with lots of contrast and my work got their attention and I can still remember their excitement after they saw their lifestyle engagement pictures we photographed at Science World and Olympic village. Since couple was getting ready at groom’s parents house the first look was an intimate moment of the morning. Then we drove to Capilano river for dramatic and scenic bridal portrait. How awesome is to have a picture with Lions peaks as the main backdrop? After we finally got to the UBC grounds the late afternoon sun blessed us with breathtaking Persian wedding ceremony on the top of the hill. Sunbathing in the last rays of light guests then entered tent for the reception festivities.

Sunset first dance followed by speeches and creative dusk portraits were simply amazing experience. And since these guys know how to entertain themselves the loud party rocked the night till the end of the celebration.

There is so many great moments from this UBC Museum Of Anthropology Wedding and I am honoured to share that Real Weddings magazine featured Eric and Mahtab wedding day on their blog.

This was an extremely busy year for our family.  Our daughter Annabel was born and I had couple destination weddings half way around the world to photograph. We had a great time as a family and also as photographers.

Here is a toast to my 2017 brides and grooms! Let’s the story begin for you.

And if you feel this UBC Museum Of Anthropology Wedding caught your attention I would love to hear your ideas and plans for your celebration.

My name is Jozef Povazan and I am passionate wedding photographer from Vancouver.

Cheers.
